Ingredient:

Roast Beef with Gravy

Deli roast beef (sliced)                                   1 pound

All purpose flour                                              1 ½ cups

Olive oil                                                                1 ½ tablespoon

Garlic powder                                                      ¼ teaspoon

Onion powder                                                      ¼ teaspoon

Beef broth                                                             2 cups

Roasted Potatoes

Potatoes (sliced, medium thick)                                     2 pieces

Black pepper (freshly ground)                          ¼ teaspoon

Olive oil                                                                      2 tablespoon

Iodized salt                                                               ¼ tablespoon

Procedure:

Step 1

Set the oven at 400 degrees to preheat it. While waiting, put the sliced potatoes in water and soak them for about 5 minutes. Pat them dry afterwards.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, iodized salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Spread the mixture on both sides of the potatoes. You can use your fingers to make sure the mixture is spread evenly.

Step 3

Place the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet, and bake them for about 30 minutes. Wait until the edge of the potatoes turns into light brown.

Step 4

While waiting for the potatoes to be cooked, just prepare the roast beef with gravy. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and add the flour and beef broth. Whisk them together until the mixture is smooth.

Step 5

Add the garlic and onion powder to the pan, and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes. You can add more liquid if you prefer to have more gravy.

Step 6

Lastly, add the deli roast beef and stir. After 5 minutes, serve the baked potatoes with beef and gravy on top.
