Ingredients:

1 pound beef round steak (cut in 2-4 cubes)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for the steak)

2 teaspoons vegetable oil (for the other mix)

1 shallot onion (sliced thinly)

1 ½ teaspoon all purpose flour

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ cup beef broth

 

Preparation time:

 

This can be done in a span of 20-30 minutes, approximately.

 

Serving size:

Good for 2-3 persons.

 

Directions:

First of all, heat the pan over medium heat or just enough to heat the 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot enough, pour the cubed steaks in the pan and wait until it turns brown and well cooked. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper all over the steak.

Once it is brown and cooked through, transfer it on a plate and cover to keep it warm.

Second, add the 2 teaspoons vegetable oil to the pan. Once the oil is hot enough, add the thinly sliced onion to the pan and wait until the onion turns golden brown. Sprinkle with flour and stir for about a minute or less.

Third, add the beef broth and wait until it completely boils. Once it boils, stir the broth, together with the sliced onion and flour until it thickens. This can be completely done in 2-3 minutes.

Fourth, place the cubed steak back into the pan with the sauce inside.

Fifth, transfer the cubed steak into a plate and prepare it in a presentable way for it to be more scrumptious to look at.
